Mirror mirror

When I look in the mirror I see

creases.

Lines.

Spots.

Uneven-ness.

Sagging.

Crepey.

Cellulite.

I also see 51 years of 

laughing.

Crying.

Loving.

Expressing.

Living.

I have one shot at this life and I’m here for all of it. That means loving ALL of me.

Of course I still see the flaws. I occasionally get Botox. I watch what I eat. I work out. And I also make a choice to re-focus. To manage my mind so it’s not managing me.

Most of us have spent a lifetime looking in the mirror and not liking what we see. 

When you look, what story are you telling yourself? 

Do you want to change that?

How would life be different? 

Remember. You get to choose.  You get to decide what you choose to believe about yourself. Always.
